Has there been any recorded blindness or eye damage due to Ultherapy?

I recently had Ultherapy done and limited it to cheeks and neck. I wanted to do the entire face, but was worried since I am completely blind in 1 eye. I cannot risk injuring the only eye I have.

Great question, and very understandable to stay as safe as possible.  Since Ulthera uses ultrasound energy, it is one of the safest cosmetic treatments performed.  Keep in mind, ultrasound is safe even while pregnant.  Eye shields are not even required during an Ulthera treatment.  I would discuss your concerns with your provider, but an Ulthera treatment will be safe even with your blindness.

Ulthera uses ultrasound to create heat several millimeters below the skin. Since it is not a laser, eye protection is not necessary. When ulthera is performed by a qualified and experienced professional there should be no concerns about vision complications.
