My right eyebrow is noticeably lower than the other & my right eye also has more eyelid skin. I'm very unhappy with the way my right eye/eyebrow looks. I can't even really wear makeup on my right eye. What kind of doctor would I go to to get this fixed? I'm terrified of having surgery, because I don't want them to mess up, but I really need to get it fixed for my self-esteem. My eye hasn't always been this way. I started noticing within the last 4-5 years. What would it cost to have it fixed?

Answer: Uneven extra skin causes Thank you for sharing your pictures and yes indeed you have and asymmetry in your brow. This can be corrected by a brow lift surgery in which we can removed some of the skin from the ptotic side and also decrease the volume of the supraciliaris muscle responsible for the depression of the brow.

Answer: Eyelid and Eyebrow Assymetry Your right brow is certainly lower than the left, but I think that the left brow may be the abnormal one. Very frequently when there is such brow asymmetry the culprit is really a droopy lid on the side with the higher brow that your brain is trying to correct by raising the brow as it senses the droop on the affected side. One photo is not enough to diagnose or treat your issue. Botox or surgery might be in order, but you really need to be examined by an Ophthalmic Plastic surgeon with experience is both functional and cometic lid and brow disorders for a thorough exam to develop an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan for you..
