I had a neck lift with lipo over 6 months ago and this is what the results are. This is not what I expected at all. This looks very bad. Please help.
Answer: Submandibular glands Part of the problem is your large submandibular glands on each side. These are difficult to deal with, and the treatment sometimes causes more complications. If you're concerned about the scarring and creases, that can be revised.

Answer: Necklift Help I would recommend a revision facelift/necklift. The liposuction only reduces the fat directly under the skin; it does not address the redundant skin, fullness of the fat/structures below the platysma muscle of the neck, and poor definition of the jawline.

Answer: Options to Improve Neck Lift Results with Excess Skin Hello and thank you for your question regarding your neck lift results. Based on your history and provided pictures, it appears you may have some residual excess neck skin that could benefit from further refinement. To achieve the tighter, more contoured look you’re aiming for, I would suggest considering non-surgical and surgical options. A popular non-surgical approach to tightening neck skin is Morpheus 8, a minimally invasive treatment combining microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and promote skin contraction. This can improve skin texture and firmness gradually over a series of treatments. For more significant results, a revision neck lift may provide a more immediate and lasting improvement. With a traditional facelift-style approach, placing incisions discreetly in front of and behind the ear, we can access deeper tissues, allowing for more comprehensive skin tightening and resuspension of the neck skin. This technique often provides a more reliable and enduring result than options like thread lifts, which can be unpredictable in the neck area. I encourage you to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon experienced in revision neck lifts to discuss these options in detail. I hope this information helps answer your question on potential improvements for your neck. Sincerely, Dr. J. Timothy Katzen, MD, FASMBS, FICS
