41 y/o female. Will a lower blepharoplasty help remove genetic winkles from the under eye area?

There are different treatment options to help with wrinkles under the eyes. One non-surgical option would be laser resurfacing. I would recommend using a CO2 laser for this purpose. The laser treatment would normally tighten the skin in the treated area. The surgical option would be removing a small strip of skin under the lashes and lifting the skin upward. I would think that either of these procedures would improve your issue.

For get rid of this old image, gain more fresh, young and stretched looking I can suggest you fat injection to under your eye area, upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty. The eye area needs significant combinations to get improvement. Lasers like erbium, co2, halo, profractional/contour, or Fraxel can all be used to build collagen long term. Plasma pen is a newer less invasive option but will take many treatments and require proper skincare. Plasma Pen is focused electrical plasma energy to tighten skin, producing small columns of energy just above the skin, allowing the skin to tighten to help improve wrinkles. This area will have 3-5 days of small “dots” that will then scab and peel, then the skin will tighter and brighter after. Thank you for your question and photo. Lower blepharoplasty does not necessarily treat under-eye wrinkles, so one or more laser resurfacing treatments are often suggested to reduce their appearance.
Laser resurfacing rejuvenates the skin by using a laser to remove the outermost layer of the skin and reveal the new, healthy skin below. At the same time, this treatment can boost collagen production for natural, long-lasting improvement. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon. They will be able to assess your concern and suggest the best course of action.

A pinch blepharoplasty, fat grafting and TCA can help correct these lines. You do not need fat removal during the bleph.

In general fine lines are not predictably improved by lower blepharoplasty. Resurfacing with laser is a better approach with the appropriate laser. Chemical peel can also be useful but less predictable.

There are other options that will better address the wrinkles that concern you besides a blepharoplasty. Laser resurfacing should improve them. We also recommend using medical grade skin care products like Transform MD, and using sunscreen every day.
