Do most providers offer nurse discounts?

When does it end?  Does the plumber give discounts when they come to the house in the middle of the night for an emergency?  Is there a discount on milk or gasoline?  It is not a thing

Great question!  Some providers do offer various discounts; a good plan is to sign up for their practice email/newsletter where a number of the discounts are advertised!

Thank you for your question - it is a great one.  It is not common procedure to offer blanket discounts to all members of the health field.  It is very dependent on the practice as well as the geographic area in which you live.  In the past, professional courtesy discounts were quite common but have decreased or gone away as the business side of many competitive areas have required practices to be very price conscious regarding discounts.  Hopefully you got a nice result as well as a nice price!

Professional discounts vary by surgeon.  Check with your surgeon to see if any are available.

In my practice, I do offer discounts for nurses, military, and first responders.  They take care of us, I take care of them.  I know of a number of other plastic surgeons who also offer discounts. Of course, every practice varies and not everyone does follow this practice.Thank you for being part of the medical team!

Every practice varies on their discounts offered to patients. In our office we do extend a discount to other healthcare providers.
