Crossfit addict dying from lack of exercise after Capsulectomy. Lower body exercise acceptable? Is Yoga ok?

It would be wise to receive clearance from your surgeon before beginning any strenuous activity. This would include yoga. To do otherwise may place you at risk for bleeding and the subsequent recurrence of capsules. 

I am all for getting my patients back to their normal routine after surgery, and this includes the resumption of exercise. The type, duration and intensity of the exercise allowed depends on many factors. Every plastic surgeon has their own guidelines for resuming exercise, depending on what they are correcting and the techniques they employ. It is a good general guide; however, it cannot serve as medical advice without knowing all the details of your procedure. The bottom line is, every patient needs to check with the plastic surgeon they have chosen for the best answer. You've chosen them for their experience and results. Following the correct aftercare regime is an important part of that process.
