Can a crescent breast lift be done after a breast augmentation and without general anesthesia?

It would be in your best interest to wait at least 6 months, better 12, before undergoing any lift procedure; it takes good year after breast augmentation for result to mature, including position, size, asymmetry of the areolas. Crescent areola lift is used for minimal asymmetry and decision what type of lift (if needed) to do should be postponed until position of the nipple/areola is stable. Good luck.

A small crescent lift above the areola can be done under local anesthesia. Unfortunately it may not be sufficient. You may need a periareolar or even a vertical lift to really get the results you need. Crescent lifts are mainly used to fix small asymmetries between breasts.

Crescent lifts can be done after breast augmentation within two months. However, crescent breast lifts are not worth it. You will only get about 1/2 cm to 1 cm movement and I do not recommend it.

You should bear in mind that the crescent lift is not a great procedure. You will get negligible lift and your areolae will likely stretch out. So think long and hard about that option.

Interesting question! Yes it can. Local anesthesia and a slight sedation is usually more then enough. Technically speaking, a small crescent lift can even be done in an office setting. This might make it a bit more uncomfortable for you and your surgeon but it’s still a possibility. The real question with a crescent lift is always if it will be enough, and I can’t answer that without at least see some photos.

In any case, it is probably too soon. Your breasts need to be fully healed and the implants need to settle before a revision. This usually takes about 6 months. Plus, once they’ve settled, the implants will drop and the nipple position will improve…..even more so if they are under the muscle! So there might be no need for a lift in the future.

You need to wait at least 6 months because your implants may not have completely settled down and you still may have some swelling. Yes, the crescent lift can be done in the office under local, but usually the peri-areolar lift is better and does not change the shape of the areola.

You will want to wait 9-12 months before considering any further surgery on your breasts. The crescent lift is a conservative and will provide a mild lift. You will need to be evaluated by your board certified plastic surgeon to determine if this is the best recommendation for you based on your exam and surgical goals.

Pictures would really help as well as a topless wish pic to see if the crescent lift is even a viable option

Thanks for the question but you DID NOT post any photos??? You are OK to have a crescent lift under local anesthesia now. Usual fee $2,500. Why did you not have it done during the augmentation?
