Rhinoplasty after having nose fillers in May. Should I get it dissolved or let it dissolve naturally?

Since it's been almost six months since your filler, you should be OK to go. Usually when the nose is opened up, any remaining filler can be seen and suctioned out. Be sure to see a surgeon that is very experienced in both fillers of the nose as well as surgery.

In most cases, people can have rhinoplasty surgery after having injectable fillers. If it was injected high on your bridge, it can usually be felt with two fingers. I have never had filler get in the way of performing rhinoplasty. If you are sure you want this surgeon doing the surgery it’s worth waiting out.

It is safe to have rhinoplasty after hyaluronic acid fillers. As your surgeon noted, it is difficult to assess the degree of correction required with filler in place. It would be best to have the filler dissolved and the nose re-examined by your surgeon to determine what needs to be done surgically to achieve the results you are seeking. Fortunately you have had filler that can be dissolved and not a permanent or non HA filler which is often a reason NOT to undergo rhinoplasty

Soft tissue fillers can be used to correct irregularities in nasal contour. Hyaluronic acid is the most popular filler. It usually lasts for 6 months or so. The filler can be dissolved with injections of hyaluronidase. However, it is probably best to wait it out as any residual filler can distort nasal appearance, and may impair one's ability to fully correct the deformity.
Rhinoplasty after hyaluronic acid absorption can proceed normally.
