Nasolabial folds & marionette lines - want to look younger and more feminine. Would a facelift be the best option? (Photos)

Question

I just turned 40. I don't like my nasolabial folds and marionette lines. I'd like to look younger and more feminine (potentially heart shaped, but open to other ways to look more feminine in the face), instead of that "bulldog face shape" (I don't think it's that bad, but I'm not sure how else to describe it :)). I'd also like to lift my eyebrows a little to look more fresh. Overall I still want it to look natural, lifted as opposed to pulled back. I've had filler, botox, Sculptra. Everything bar the POD threads worked well. I'm now ready for something more envasive, but would prefer procedures that don't take as much downtime. I'm based in Ireland, ideally here or Europe. I recommend you start with an eccentric lip lift, not a bullhorn lip lift. This does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. This takes 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $4,000. You may also benefit from a browlift. The vertical height of your forehead is too great. This would lower your hairline and decrease the vertical height of the forehead.

Thank you for your question.  This is a situation that would require more discussion in consultation, which is more focused on your philosophy and way of thinking.  Clearly, you have earlier signs of aging, have tried many minimally invasive procedures, and haven't been satisfied with the results.  I would put you in the group of patients that "looks good and wants to continue looking good", acknowledging that a deep plane facelift is the gold standard in facial rejuvenation. A facelift will not eliminate nasolabial folds but will give you a more almond shaped face. A virtual (WhatsApp) or in-person consultation would work to further discuss.
