Hi, I am 26 year old guy.Non alcoholic,Non smoker, non drug addicted guy. I am suffering with Gynecomastia. I would like to know the best surgeon and surgery cost in Toronto. Thanks.
Answer: Cost of Gynecomastia surgery in Toronto? Prices will vary by region and within each region by Surgeon. Each surgeon may also have slightly different prices for the same procedure depending on what exactly is involved to correct the problem. Your best bet is to see a few surgeons and get quotes to find out what the range is. In Toronto you should expect pricing anywhere from $4500-$7500 + tax. Ultimately you should go with the surgeon that you feel most comfortable with, not necessarily the least or most expensive one. Hope that helps!

Answer: Male breast reduction cost factors Male breast reduction cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery performed that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See the below link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon for your procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include:1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospital with an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’s office? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has average charges for most areas of the USA and Canada.2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation or General Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, or an RN be used?3. Experience and training of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery4. Length and Complexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long it will take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performed during the same surgery?

Answer: Gynecomastia surgery cost As you posted this question 11 months ago (relative to my answer) this may no longer be relevant, but you're looking at a wide range of fees. Direct excision of glandular breast tissue only is an OHIP procedure if you are eligible and there is no cost. However most men seeking this surgery have more than a little lump of glandular tissue behind the areola. Often liposuction is used to help sculpt the chest and the fee for this is very wide ranging depending on what is being done. If you're getting the OHIP excision and would benefit from a little bit of lipo, you can be looking at about $2500+. If you need more extensive liposuction, the cost can go up to $8500 (this would be a purely cosmetic procedure, no OHIP coverage for men that do not qualify for the OHIP part)
