Im a 34A right now. Will 300cc give me a nice C, maybe even a full C?

Question

I have my BA & TT scheduled for the end of June... My PS has recommended 280cc ( from what he had on his notes ) well the lady had me try on 265, when we asked her what size they were she told me around 270cc... Besides being told all these diff numbers, I'm just really hoping to get more of a full c... I know it's just a letter & a number but I don't want to walk out regretting not going any bigger... Thank you

size 34 A each 100 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change.200 cc implants would take you to a C.I always recommend small round textured
silicone gel implants placed retro-pectoral since they look and feel more
natural, are more stable, less likely to ripple or have complications needing
revision.Implant profile is irrelevant
in the retro-pectoral position since the muscle compresses it.22% of women who undergo breast augmentation
alone require revision within 2 years because they are dissatisfied with the
result.Frequent causes of
dissatisfaction are over implantation and not performing a simultaneous lift when

This may not apply to your particular situation but on balance this type of cup conversion to be expected. There are good implant sizing systems available in surgeon's office that can assist you in determining the best size for you.

Thank you for your question. It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast mound measurements/characteristics. I use these measurements to help me during the sizing process to guide you to a safe result for your chest wall and just as important, one that meets your end desires.The next step is to try on this range of implants in the office with your doctor. The key to this success is showing your surgeon the body proportion you desire with a bra sizer and allowing your surgeon to guide you to the right implant. It will be much easier to communicate in implant cc's than cup size when determining the appropriate implant for you during the sizing process. In addition, review of photos and use of rice bags can be very helpful to the patient and surgeon in achieving a safe and happy result. There are several factors that plastic surgeons consider when recommending implant sizes.  I consider two factors when selecting implants for my patients:1. Dimensional planning2. Gel Implant Sizing systemDimensional planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the breast dimensions including the height, width, and current dimensions of each breast form the basis of dimensional planning. Based on these measurements, the implant size is recommended. This will give you a unique breast implant that is suited for your body frame. However, there are some limitations of what size we can recommend. For instance, some implants may just be too big for a narrow chest wall. Your surgeon can review this with you during the consultation.Gel Implant Sizing system – During the preliminary breast implant consultation, you will be provided with an option to “try on” a variety of implant shapes and sizes. You can also visualize the possible outcomes of your surgery which helps you to get that perfect size to give you the shape that you longed for. There are no reliable translations of implants size to cup size increase. Some surgeons estimate a cup size increase for every 150 to 250 cc.  There are no uniform standards to define cup size. Furthermore, a C on a 36 band is smaller than a C on a 38, and larger than a C on a 34, and so forth.My preference is to have patients try on implants and use that info in picking the best size to use at surgery. It is always most important to focus on the look that you want to achieve after breast augmentation.
