Is it getting Better or can it get worst?i got my breast lift with reduction and small implants 235 cc mentor shaped on 10.11 so I'm 1 week post op after surgery my right breast nipple and areola was completely purple /black colour its seams like it's getting better , would like to ask more opinion ? Other then that so happy with result just hoping everything will heal well :)

Thanks for your inquiry, but without an exam it is hard to advise because some of what I see is bruising and other parts look like decreased blood supply.  Please be regularly evaluated by your plastic surgeon and I hope for you a speedy recovery.

It looks like you have had quite a lot of bruising and it isn't easy to determine via photos. It does look like there has been some compromise to the areola (nipple appears OK)  but this looks to be improving and this may well be OK. Best for your PS to see you and just check that there is no collection and your support bra is not tight. If the nipple areola is warm and has sensation these are good predictive signs that all will be fine.
