It is not unusual to have wound issues at the T junction and this will heal with dressings. Important thing is that the wound does not get infected and the implant is well protected. Best to keep in touch with your PS.
Thank you for your question. It does unfortunately happen on occasion that the T-point of the incision will have delayed healing. As long as it is small and an infection does not develop, it is usually easily managed with local wound care, and the scar often heals well in the end. It is important that your surgeon is aware of how the wound looks and examines it, to make sure there is not a more serious issue and to give recommendations of how to care for it.
