I am 11 days post op of my breast lift with implants. The tape was removed a few days after. They caused many blisters. I have been putting neosporin on them and cover with gauze. However, concerned about the green brown ones. Nothing looks infected but seeking other advice here.

Answer: Blisters Dear Corebeautyaz,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Sometimes surgical tape can cause blisters which are harmless in most cases. I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon in case you are concerned. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery

Answer: Blisters from Surgical Tape Blisters are a common reaction to patients that are sensitive to adhesive although steri-strips are usually well tolerated by most patients. The blisters do not look infected or like there are any other concerning problems. You can leave them alone or put triple antibiotic ointment on them. It is important to follow up with your surgeon so they can continue to monitor them and give further recommendations.
