My surgeon told me to find another Dr. He got upset at me because I told him that the outcome of his work is unacceptable, the lack of symmetry is outstanding, specially in the eyes and cheeks, plus multiple other issues., He does not want to take responsibility for his work and sells himself as a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, and he is only an eye ophthalmologist trying to be a Part time Cosmetic Surgeon. I a patient I have my rights. Thanks so much.
Answer: A physician's duty I'm so sorry to hear about your issues. You surgeon has an ethical obligation to see you through to complete healing. If he or she can not correct your issues in my opinion he or she should refer you to someone who can current your issues.

Answer: Unhappy with results Hello. Thank you for your question. I am not sure what question you are asking here. The results of any facelift procedure depend on multiple factors, some of which are under the control of the operating surgeon, and some are not. If you would like input from the surgeons on this site regarding your results and possible treatment options, it would be helpful to see before and after pictures. I am sorry to hear of the breakdown in communication between you and your surgeon. You apparently do not have confidence in his expertise or the results of his work. Therefore, it may be in your best interest to seek a second opinion. I wish you the best in your efforts. I hope this information is helpful.

Answer: Facelift by ophthalmologist If you would like the best advice from the real self community, some pre/post op photos would be helpful. Unfortunately, it is difficult for the consumer to determine who is a highly qualified surgeon and who isn't.Best to find a board certified PS to help you from this point. Good luck

Answer: A solution.. Some advices: Thanks for sharing your concerns with us.I'm so sorry that you had that horrible experience. I usually tell my patients that the first step for a safe plastic surgery is to choose a board certified aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon. This should have a personal website containing details of his professional biography and some photos of the procedures performed.Your plastic surgeon should be transparent and a honest person with you, with ethical and human values, and especially with good reputation and history. Also, it's much better if this doctor have special training and experience in procedures like the one you're interested. Finally, i invite you to send your photos to give you more information of interest for you.Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
