Hello and thank you for your inquiry. During consultation, your provider evaluates the area to determine where the fat begins and tapers off, this will vary from person to person. This will determine the number of applicators needed per each single treatment. Overlapping applicators is commonly practiced. I usually recommend a minimum of two treatments 90 days apart. We reevaluate 90 post 2nd treatment, to determine if further treatment is necessary. Best of luck.
The Cool Mini applicator is a wonderful treatment for submental fat. We typically treat each patient with two cycles, overlapping in the middle. Although, this is a case by case situation and sometimes one cycle is best depending on the patient. The amount of fat tissue also determines how many treatments will give the desired result. Seeking a professional for a consultation for your treatment is highly recommended to determine what your expectations are and what treatment plan is best for you.
We've been having great results with doing 2 cycles per treatment, and 2 treatments in total. This way we can sculpt the jawline and overlap in the middle to target where the most volume is. That being said, everyone's anatomy is different so the treatment will be tailored to your specific needs.
Hi There, Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting is a fantastic procedure that can really help sculpt the chin area. The actual application varies from patient to patient. We would need to evaluate them in person to determine exactly what they need. Please consult with a certified local provider to determine the best course of action. Best of luck!
CoolMini is great for pinchable fat in the lower chin. The best part about CoolSculpt is that you can overlap your applications. The number of CoolMini applications is dependent on the individual neck fat anatomy. I would recommend consulting with an experience CoolSculpt consultant in person for best planning and treatment advice. Best, Dr. Anil Shah
It all depends on you anatomy and how well your tissue fits in the applicator. An experienced provider will be able to walk you through the process. Best of luck!
CoolSculpting using the CoolMini applicator to freeze the fat under the chin can yield about 20% fat reduction in the appropriate candidates. The number of applicators used, and their placement, will depend on the amount and distribution of fat in the area which will vary for each person. The best way to determine this is by an in-person consultation and examination by an experienced CoolSculpting physician. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question! We will use one applicator in the center of submental region if it is a small pocket that does not require to be tapered on the sides and only fills up one applicator. We will use two applicators with overlap if it is a larger area of adipose tissue in order to taper the jawline. We combine our treatments with Velashape and Kybella to get phenomenal results.
Hello there, It completely depends on the patient. It depends on the amount of volume, the amount of laxity, and the jaw width. I would recommend discussing this with your provider. Hope this helps. Sarah RN BSN
Thank you for your question. To get optimal results, I would recommend 2 cycles with each treatment with an overlap in the center where the greatest fullness exists. It typically takes 2 rounds of treatment to achieve the optimal results. I had this procedure performed with very little submental fat to assess the degree of tightening and have been very impressed with the results. I recommend low intensity shock wave therapy (Z Wave) immediately following the treatment process. This helps to optimize the fat destruction and is much more comfortable than the 3 minute massage that is recommended.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Hello and thank you for your thoughtful question. We specialize in CoolSculpting in Los Angeles. It's a busy practice with many regular patients. We have not observed PAH (paradoxical adipose hyperplasia) develop in any of our patients, regardless of race or ethnicity. We believe that ex...
Hello and thank you for your question. I do not think you have enough fat under your chin for CoolSculpting. I would recommend Morpheus8 for the submental are. It will help contour the jaw and reduce the fat in that area.
Is the prednisone short term therapy or is there a plan to transition to another medication long term? Prednisone causes water retention, so if there are areas of seemingly unwanted fat I would check with your rheumatologist to see if there is an alternative medication or to decrease the...
