Filler in nose. Is it safe to have Restylane Lyft in my bridge?

Thank you for your question. Restylane Lyft would be a great option to use in the nose. I would consult with your plastic surgeon who performed the implant to ensure it is safe at this point to inject filler.

Yes, you can have fillers in your nose. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose. Surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Restylane Lyft is a great choice for the nose.  If you decide to move forward with the treatment it is very important to find a board certified injector that knows the anatomy very well and has many years of experience.  I recommend a consultation to determine which treatment and product are right for you.  Best of luck!

I prefer Voluma rather than Restylane Lyft for non-surgical rhinoplasty even after implant removal. Voluma will add more structure to the nose rather than soft volume which I see happening more with Lyft. As long as you do not have any complications from your implant (infection, skin injury etc), then it should be safe to have a filler used for nasal augmentation as long as the injector is aware of the nasal anatomy and careful to avoid vital structures such as the veins and arteries. Thank you for your question. The answer is, probably. If you had an implant removed because of infection or extrusion than I would wait at least one more month before doing any procedure. But, regardless, you should get a consultation with someone who is qualified to perform this procedure. I would not use Restylane Lyft - I think it's a bit too firm; but I typically use restylane-L or Juvederm depending on the amount of correction needed. Best of luck! 

Hi Maria, to answer your question - yes it should be safe to have fillers in the nasal bridge with a caveat - this requires a skilled injector with microcanula experience. Restalyn Lyft is a good choice, as is Juvaderm Voluma. Good Luck, Dr Eric Shreder
