Thanks for the question. Lumps, bumps and swelling are all normal shortly after treatment. As your body acclimates to the product these lumps should resolve. Since it has been quite awhile and you still feel the product, I would suggest returning to your injector. If needed, they can dissolve any remaining filler with hyaluronidase. Best of luck!
Hello, and thank you for your question. It's perfectly normal to have a lump or bump after injection of dermal fillers. However, these typically resolve on its within a few weeks after treatment. If you feel a lump, but are not able to see the product, I suggest returning your injector for a second look. If needed, they can easily remove it with hyaluronidase.
Thank you for your question. Injections around the eyes should always be done by someone with extensive injection experience. However, even with experienced injectors, you may get a bump or lump. This may be due to the injected material, a reaction to the material, a bruise, or just swelling. If the area does not smooth out over a few weeks, then it may be necessary to inject the area with a special medication (hyaluronidase) which will help dissolve the product. The hyaluronidase breaks apart the hyaluronic acid which is found in Restylane and Juvederm products.Best of luck!
Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hi @jujucarole22! I would not recommend injecting Restylane Lyft into the lips. A better alternative would be Restylane Kysse or Defyne. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
There can be swelling for 1-2 weeks after fillers, which may compress the nerve. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your injector. Hope this helps.
Hi @lelebugs! I'm sorry you are not happy with your final results. I recommend dissolving the unwanted filler with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
Thanks so much for your question. There are small mucous glands in the lips that can become temporarily more prominent after injection. Another possibility is some of the product is too superficial. I suggest an examination with your plastic surgeon/injector for a proper diagnosis.
It's difficult to tell from your picture. This may be Fordyce spots or superficially placed filler. I recommend following up with your injector. Hope this helps.
