Hi @maddandrews! I prefer using Restylane Lyft for a non-surgical rhinoplasty. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications.
i dont like juvederm In the nose unless its voluma or vollure. lyft does very well, I avoid bellafill or radiesse. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Regarding these two different fillers, Restylane Lyft is a much better option. It gives more precise structure and does not draw as much water and swelling into the area. Another positive it that if you are not happy with your results, Restylane can be broken down easier for dissolving.
Both Restylane Lyft and Juvederm are commonly used fillers for non-surgical rhinoplasty procedures. The choice between them often depends on individual preferences, the expertise of the injector, and the specific needs of the patient. Both fillers can provide excellent results when used by skilled injectors. It’s essential to consult with a skilled injector to determine which filler would be best suited for your particular situation.
Juvéderm Voluma/Restylane Lyft is best to use for rhinoplasty, get a physical consultation with a board certified medical practitioner to determine which filler is most suitable for you.
Dear maddandrews,Previously known a Perlane, renamed Restylane Lyft has the best G-prime or elasticity against applied force. It feels firmer and projects well like the bone and cartilage of the various portions of the nose. While it can be dissolved with an enzyme (a good thing) for the patient that is disappointed with its result, it also attracts water and adds volume following its injection (not necessarily a good thing). I also use Radiesse, a suspension similar to bone particularly for the radix (the hollow between the eyes at the top of the nose and below the forehead) and for a saddle nose. Then non-surgical rhinoplasty is very useful for smaller improvements as larger volumes of both fillers above may yield to the overlying skin pressure and drift slightly. Careful and artistic injection is required as there are complications with fillers to the nose. Select your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon carefully for those with good experience in surgical nose enhancements as well as non-surgical rhinoplasty. I hope this is helpful. All the best. Stay well.
I've used both fillers with nice results. Definitely with Juvederm would pick a firmer filler such as their Volume or Vollure/Volift. Restylane and Restylane Lyft are also both great options. Most importantly, with these hyaluronic acid-based fillers, we can reverse them with the enzyme hyaluronidase if we want to tweak or remove the filler. The nose and tear troughs and lips in particular are the most challenging areas to treat and require the most expertise, so make sure to seek out a highly trained and experienced physician injector only (e.g. dermatologist).
I prefer to use Restylane or Restylane Lyft when treating the nose. I prefer Restylane over Restylane Lyft in most cases because of the lower extrusion force needed to inject Restylane in this vascular part of the face.
I have been performing liquid rhinoplasty since 1995 when Restylane became available for my use. In 1996 when I showed the procedure on the TV show "Extra", I called it a "nose job in the bottle". I find that Restylane or Restylane Lyft (perlane) has has more stability and sturdier structure for liquid rhinoplasty than Juvederm which is very gelatinous. Another excellent product for liquid rhinoplasty is Radiesse. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery
