Back in 2016, I had 275cc round Implantech butt implants placed with Dr. Mofid. He actually created his own implant called "Natural Contour" with Implantech, featuring three natural, smooth sizes that go up to 330cc. When I first went in for surgery, we could only fit the 275cc in at the time. While everything went smoothly and still holds up well, I've known for a long time that I would want to go bigger down the road. I had pre-op yesterday and got a solid idea of what the size increase might look like. He said that since the pocket is already created I can go all the way up to 655cc if I want. After looking at those implants in office, I can safely say the 655 is huge and very heavy, and I do not want to go that large. I can't fathom it holding up well. I have added photos of some of the different implants for you guys to look at. I am looking for a dramatic increase with an eye-catching bubble butt while still keeping in mind that I have a tiny frame and am wanting a safe option. The size below 655 in Implantech is 485cc, which is a nice increase from 275cc but significantly smaller than the 655. He is special ordering 548cc from AART to use as a potential option as well. This is really nice of him because he has always used Implantech, so for that reason I am a little hesitant to branch out even though I like the size option. For reference, I'm 5'5" and 120 lbs. He will ultimately decide on the table which option is best. Surgery is 3 weeks out. I'm excited but also a nervous wreck! Please note I have scoliosis so my butt and hips slightly asymmetrical by default Updated on 19 May 2025: So I’m out of surgery and have a nurse staying with me for the next 3 days. Mofid asked me which size I wanted and I said I was leaning towards 548 unless he felt even slightly it wasn’t safe, then to do the 485cc (rounds). Not going to lie, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster today. I respect a decision made around safety but I’m already feeling like we went too small. I guess time will tell. I think Mofid just leans strongly towards natural looks, I kind of wanted mine slightly fake looking, which I did relay to him. Again, I’ll know more in a month or two. I keep reminding myself it’s day one and they will drop and fluff. Post-op is tomorrow so I will keep you posted. I did add lipo to the flanks as well for an additional $2800. Way less painful than I expected, my butt hurts far more than my hips. I’m really hoping the lipo will give me the extra pop needed to make up for using the smaller size. It’s been so long since I’ve done this and I really don’t remember the drop and fluff process from last time. My butt is definitely flattish and boxy in the mirror which I do recall was the case the first time as well, but later rounded out. Any other ladies who felt this way at first - did you grow to love them after some time passed? Or did they not round out as much as you hoped? Updated on 20 May 2025: Had my post-op today, everything went well. I asked about how Mofid chose the size and apparently 485cc is the absolute biggest he could fit in the pocket. I'm starting to fall in love with it now. It's definitely an emotional journey having something like this done, and moments of doubt are likely inevitable. But after seeing how I look in my pants I'm pretty satisfied. It definitely has more of a pop than it did before, and my liposuction is already starting to look good too. I'll take some more pictures when I'm feeling up to it.
I have nothing but, amazing things to say about Dr Mofid. He was able to assist me with a augmentation revision that was very problematic. My right breast kept bottoming out. After having other surgeons try fix it multiple times without a resolution I decided to see Dr Mofid. It has been over a year now and I am so happy with the results. My breast look fantastic and things are right where they should be. Dr Mofid is very professional and is meticulous with his work. I would recommend him to anyone.
I am so pleased with my eye surgery. I can see again and have healed beautifully. And, every person in this practice, the staff and Dr, Mofid have been amazing. Always friendly, informative and willing to go the extra when need extra info or . Thank you all so very much...
I just want to say that I’m so incredibly happy and satisfied with my breast reduction and lift. Two months post op and I’ve enjoyed how low maintenance my breast have been since. Excellent plastic surgeon and office staff.
I was in a car accident and had a deveated septum and lots of scar tissue. The only lived with the pain for 10 months until I Dr Mofid was able to put me back to normal. It's only been 6 weeks and I no longer have headaches, my breathing is 100 percent, and I am finally starting to look like my old self again. Thank you Dr Mofid
I came in for a buttock augmentation. From the time I went in for my consultation to the actual procedure to the follow up appointments, it was all super smooth! Dr. Mofid did a fantastic job! My body looks so proportional...my new butt balances out everything! His staff is super awesome, friendly and professional! I could not have asked for more! My experience with this office was truly amazing!

Completed 5’2 113 lbs going back 4 the 2nd surgery for fuller projection in 10-12months again. I want to start off this review by saying The majority of doctors here on RealSelf that are from places like Beverly Hills, Los Angeles orange county, New York, Miami, Chicago, Houston all certified board surgeons, could not offer me the technique and precision it takes to do a proper butt implant revision surgery which Dr. Mark Mofid was able to not only promise me but executed perfectly. I am one of the most meticulous patients when it comes to my body. My butt was botched by Dr. Hector Milla in Tijuana six years ago when I was younger and very eager to have my bubbly butt that I didn’t do my research before going under the knife with this doctor in Mexico. I learned my lesson always do your research and go with multiple plastic surgeons before you make a decision, I have learned that lesson throughout my plastic surgery procedures. All of the doctors I went to wanted to leave me without butt Implants for six months and others were telling me that I might need three surgeries and Others were telling me they could do it bigger than 300 CC but after doing a lot more research on bigger can cause you more problems like developing an infection where your implants have to be removed again LOL why would doctors do that? To take your money there's no other reason. I don't care what other plastic surgeons have to say about my review I think people need to know these types of cases to avoid going to not very skilled plastic surgeons. When I met Dr. Mofid through a virtual consultation he told me he could do it and that I was going to leave the same day with butt implants. He had great reviews zero deaths zero lawsuits but of course, I still had my doubts because every single doctor was telling me a different story. ( But really quick I'm going to include this there's a doctor in Miami and in Los Angeles that have lawsuits and deaths like I said I don't know if I can say all that on here on RealSelf but for sure I'm going to be making a YouTube video just specifically to talk about each and one individual plastic surgeon). OK going back to what I was talking about Dr. Mofid, I Was so nervous and in doubt still with doctor Mofid. I almost backed out a day before my surgery during my preop appointment. But after my husband did extensive research for the 2nd time he still couldn’t find anything negative on Dr. Mofid online. That Helped me make my decision and helped me get past my fear the day before my appointment. Dr. Mofid doesn’t talk a lot throughout the consultations or visits but that’s because he knows his work and he knows when everything is fine. He under promises and over delivers as I had mentioned to him I wanted more hip volume, he told me he probably wasn’t going to be able to do that but when I woke up from surgery I woke up with hips. unlike other doctors that talk a lot and they don’t deliver. Especially Ryan Stanton and Kimberly Henry those were the two worst ones that left me in tears. I was not going to share my experience online but now I want to leave this review for all the girls who have had a botched butt implant surgery ( which is one of the most painful and risky surgeries) which I have seen a lot on YouTube sharing their stories about how they had to remove their implants and be without them for almost one year due to not healing correctly and improperly putting in the implant. People have left reviews about Dr. Mofid talking about him being very cocky and not taking time with patients in the room but I would be cocky too if I was skilled like dr Mofid. I personally prefer a cocky doctor that Under promises but delivers results versus a doctor that talks a lot over promises results but doesn't deliver. I am talking above and beyond about this plastic surgeon Dr. Mofid because he’s the one that gave me hope because if you guys don’t know once you remove butt implants your skin sags and it looks very awful and that’s why I was crying the whole time when every doctor would tell me the same thing “ that I needed to remove my implants for six months to a year. And other doctors would tell me that they can remove them and put in Implants as big as 400 cc’s this was a Houston doctor named Dr. Franco and I didn’t feel comfortable with his response because I know going under the muscle the biggest you can go is 300 cc’s to let’s say 320 cc’s safely it all depends on the individual. So with Dr. Mofid I was still nervous as hell like I was scared regardless I’ve been through a lot with this botched ass that a Tijuana doctor did. And it was not so much it being botched it was more that he lied to me and did not go intramuscular like he said he did he went above the muscle and the implant was very visible and it moved and me being so petite no doctor felt comfortable fixing it. I was Supposed to go back in six months to go bigger with doctor Hector Milla in Tijuana, But he shut me down and told me that his supplier no longer sold the implants that I needed to go bigger and he couldn’t do it anymore which was a complete lie because dr. Mofid confirmed the implant was in fact above the muscle. That is why Dr. Milla turned me away. He took my money and ran pretty much. I continue to lie to this day Insisting he did do it intramuscular insisting he did do it intramuscular. Now I know that all the other doctors in Beverly Hills Los Angeles cannot reconstruct other plastic surgeons jobs because they are not confident enough with their own skill and they don’t feel safe performing reconstructive butt implants because they’re not skilled enough for the task. Believe me, I called and went to every single one. It literally took me about a year of research and consultations to make my decision on a doctor. I will be doing a video on YouTube talking about each and every plastic surgeon I met with before coming across Dr. Mofid‘s platform. But I’ll leave that information on here later because I’m still healing and I will be going back for a second surgery end of this year hoping to achieve the projection I have been desiring for the past six years. I'm currently at the beginning of week three of recovery. I want to end this review by saying that Dr. Mofids main priority is his patients safety and that's what we all should take into consideration before anything before going under the knife and giving your money to any doctor. There's been a lot of deaths with BBL botched Implants it's just crazy to trust just any doctor. Just because they are board-certified does that mean they are skilled and specialist at Butt Implants. Or BBL. I'm not saying that all doctors are not good but you need to understand that just because one is a plastic surgeon does not mean he is skilled to perform surgeries with great results in every part of your body each doctor is skilled To do breast reconstructive surgery rhinoplasty whatever part of your body you want to enhance or correct make sure it's a doctor that is specialized to do that particular procedure. Do your research online on RealSelf and other platform types. Also, add The doctors name along with add lawsuits/deaths When searching. It's crazy to see so many doctors on RealSelf that have so many bad reviews and botched surgeries even deaths that are commenting and giving their advice and pointers it is baffling.
Hi there and thank you for your question. You are certainly a candidate for earlobe repair. It is very common for patients who have worn heavy earring over the years or had them pulled and stretched to need surgical reconstruction. Luckily, this is a simple procedure that can be done under local anesthesia. The cost for this ranges for each surgeon, but you can expect to pay anywhere from $1500-$2500 which would cover the surgeon's fees and the time in the operating room.
Hi there and thank you for your question. You can certainly be a candidate for eyelid surgery in your 20's if it is determined that there is enough excess skin that can be removed. Keep in mind that you may need a revision years later as the natural aging process occurs. Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon or Ophthalmologist.
Hi there and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, arm lift scars are unlikely to heal unnoticeable, unlike incisions on other parts of the face or body. This is because the arms have a good amount of tension from stretching and bending. Arm scars tend to take longer to fully subside, often times about 2 years. You can certainly look into scar therapy treatments to help. Most patients consider the risk versus reward when deciding if an arm lift is right for them. Good luck to you!
Hi and thank you for your question. You will definitely see an improvement in your back rolls by having liposuction in that area. You also may want to consider adding a skin tightening laser, such as Renuvion, to the procedure. This will give about a 20% improvement to the skin laxity and really enhance your results. Please make sure you consult with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon. Good luck to you!
Hi REW80, thank you for your question. It is possible that the scar tissue that is forming around your implants is what is causing the asymmetry. Once the capsulectomies are performed, the surgeon can determine how much breast tissue to excise during the breast lift. Often times, there is a side that requires more tissue to be removed to help the breasts be symmetrical. Sometimes, additional fat grafting is necessary to correct small deviations. It is important that you have your textured implants removed since they were taken off the market due to causing a rare form of breast cancer called Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL). Good luck to you with your future surgery.
