Answer: BBL with shunt It is essential that you have both the neurosurgeon and your GP clearing you for the procedure. Depending on the areas suctioned, your plastic surgeon should acquaint themselves with where the tubing is located for the VP shunt to empty into the abdomen. You must make sure not to damage it.
