In general, expect to wait around six months to see your final results after getting liposuction, though you should have a good idea of what your final outcome will look like by about three months into your recovery.
 

Swelling can last 3-6 months after liposuction. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. If liposuction was performed properly you should see a significant reduction of swelling within 3-4 weeks. 70% of swelling should reduce within the first 8 weeks, the remaining swelling should go down within 10 months after surgery.
