Line/crease on lower stomach after lipo. How do I get rid of it? (Photos)

It is too early to tell if your skin will flatten out well. There is still plenty of swelling and scarring. Wait at least to the three month mark and if the crease is still present in might be addressed with a mini tummy tuck. #StayBeautiful @RealDrWorldWide

hello sabrinaacarter  Liposuction patients can see results of their procedures as early as 10-14days after the procedure, but improvements continue 4-6 months afterwards as swellings and irregularities resolve. You should visit or contact your PS about this concern. #stomach #post-op

I recommend following up with your Doctor about your compression garment to make sure it fits correctly. However, it is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Dear sabrinaacarter,it is still to early to see the final results of your liposuction. At this stage there is stills some swelling which can last for months. It can be challenging to completely "get rid" of a crease that has been in the making for a long time because the tissue may be thinned out there. You may also see some improvement as the swelling goes down in the upper abdomen. One trick I use is placing thick Reston or liposuction foam between the skin and the garment so that the abdomen doesn't make a crease there when you move or sit down. You can order on amazon or talk to you surgeon about it.

Thank you for your question.  You are still too soon after surgery to determine if your stomach will flatten out.  Swelling can last longer then 6 weeks after liposuction.  Try wearing compression to help the body reduce the swelling quicker.  If the fold persists after a couple months, you may want to consider a mini-abdominoplasty to remove excess skin in the lower abdominal area.

You should wait for the swelling to subside prior to making a definitive decision. However based on your pictures a mini tummy tuck might be your best option. 

Hello, Thank you for your question.  It is still too early to determine your final results as you still have swelling. Swelling can last up to 3 months so try be patient. Wearing a tight compression body garment will help the swelling subside quicker. In regards to the crease on the stomach that may get better with time, however you should speak to your operating Surgeon about it.We wish you the best of luck!
