Either there is too much skin remaining that has not tightened and then you need either external skin tightening or skin removal, or there is more fat there that should be removed. I suggest speaking to your physician if you are worried or getting a second opinion.  It takes month to see your final outcome from surgery as well.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Liposuction generally does not result in significant skin tightening so if there was excess skin before, this will still be present after surgery.  However, if you only had the procedure in March there could still be improvement in your appearance for several months.

when fat is removed the skin does not always snap back as much as we would like so it may be that your skin has not tightened as much 

Front your pictures. It does appear that your skin doesn't appear to have much tone.  Liposuction works wonders to remove volume at fixed locations especially when the skin has elasticity and tone to contract after the procedure.  The reason you may notice more told is because the skin has not contracted after the procedure.   Based on your picture, you do appear to be a candidate for a tummy tuck. From the photograph it looks as though there is either swelling or surplus fat at your procedure. In spite of that there's also a surplus of skin that can only be treated by surgical removal.

You are still early from surgery.  Give it more time to settle down, and then re-evalauted in a few months.

I rarely suction abdomens for this reason. If the skin does not snap back, then you end up with loose skin you did not have before. If it does not get better, then an abdominoplasty will fix it.Greg Sexton, M.D.Columbia, S.C.

msa,You still have a substantial amount of excess abdominal skin, and liposuction is a questionable intervention in that circumstance as it is only going to further aggravate the excess skin that was clearly present before the fat was removed.  This will not be corrected without cosmetic abdominoplasty.  I hope that this helps.   Tummy tuck information follows. 

You have excess skin.  When you stand you stretch it out but when you sit it folds up/  You will benefit from a tummy tuck .   You need a real TT and not a mini TT.    Remember mini procedures produce mini change.   Plan for a TT.  My Best,  Dr C
