I am two weeks post op and I feel like my incisions are on my chest/rib cage and not on my “underboob”. Are they too low or when my implants settle will they be on my underboob by that time? I wanted my scars to be as hidden as possible and they’re definitely visible.

Answer: Incisions Congratulations on your surgery! Your incisions look to be placed properly. As you continue to heal your breasts will soften and the implants will drop into the pocket. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon for optimal results.

Answer: Healing from surgery Thank you for your question. You are very early in the healing process. Over the next few weeks the implants will drop and the breasts will become more natural looking. The scars appear to be in a good position and I think once you are healed you will not be able to notice them.

Answer: Less Visible In Time 2 weeks after a breast augmentation is an early stage in the healing process. The position of your incision lines do not seem too low. As you continue to heal and as your breast tissue adapts and stretches and your implants drop, the exposure of the scars is likely to improve. Also, it can take up to a year for a scar to fully mature, flatten and fade.
