Costs can vary greatly depending on the geographical area.  I charge $8500 for a mini-facelift in my office under local anesthesia.  If the surgery is done in the surgicenter, the fee would be about $1850 higher.

All facelift operations are designed to affect three regions: the neck, jaw line, and cheeks. By elevating and tightening these areas, loose neck tissues are tightened, the jaw line is defined which reduces the jowls and marionette lines (lines down from the corner of the mouth), and the cheeks are elevated which reduces the nasolabial folds (lines down from the corner of the nose or parentheses lines). This lessens these characteristic signs of aging as well as reduces generalized facial wrinkling. Tightening the underlying structures is performed to enhance the effectiveness and longevity of the rejuvenation.

 Hi, mini lifts like other versions of facelifts are performed differently which means it's important to understand just exactly what your proposed facelift will accomplish as discussed below.  Prices for facelifts will vary based on what type of facelift is being performed (some take as long as 6 hours due to the very aggressive nature of the tissue dissection), what else needs to be done during the facelift (shape the cheeks, chin, lips or jaw line) as well as the exerience and reputation of the Facelift Surgeon. I have performed many SMAS facelifts for over 30 years and have performed many minimally, invasive SMAS facelifts.  While non smiling photos of your face from the front and side would be the best for evaluation, the attached photo shows that your cheeks are flat in the front, there is some excess fat in front of the cheeks as well as in the lower face and jowls are present.  These factors combine to create a rectangular shaped face. 


 Following my beauty principles, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces.  Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in the front.  Cheek augmentation with a dermal filler or using cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, round cheeks that will feminize the entire face.


 "Jowls” are sagging facial tissues and the main indication for some form of a SMAS facelift.  The underlying SMAS layer, of the face, must be dissected, lifted, trimmed and re-sutured (not merely folded or suspended with threads or sutures that will not last).  The excess skin is then removed and the facelift incisions closed.
