I have had multiple treatments for acne scaring such as fillers, microneedling, active fx, deep fx, fraxel, tca cross, bellafill with subcision and now doing viva venus. My question is I am 32 years old and still see rolling scars although my skin has improved I am still not happy, would it be good for me to get a mini face lift which would target my lower face because that is where my rolling scars are at. Would the skin after the lift go back to what it was and still show the rolling effect.
Answer: Acne Scarring -- Needs Combination of Subcision; Fillers Like Bellafill; Lasers Like Fraxel/Erbium/CO2; TCA Cross; Fractora RF "Acne scars need a combination approach for long-term improvement. Everyone has a unique pattern of acne scarring, and most people have various types of scars, so we create a tailored treatment plan for each patient. We often use: - Injectable fillers like Bellafill and Sculptra (with or without subcision) for atrophic, indented scars. - Subcision for depressed, tethered scars. - Vascular lasers like Yellow laser, Aerolase, excel V, BBL, or IPL for redness or thick acne scars. - Lasers such as Fraxel, Erbium, CO2, Halo or fractional radiofrequency (Venus Viva, Skinfinity, Morpheus, PiXel8, Fractora, Intensif microneedling RF) for textural issues and superficial scarring. - TCA CROSS and punch excision for deep ice pick scars and narrow box car scars. All lasers are combined with microneedling/PRP to improve the results and accelerate your healing time. Keep in mind that a personalized combination treatment by an expert physician will give you the improvement you're looking for. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer. "

Answer: Acne scars Shallow acne scars can be successfully treated with laser or light peels. For the deeper scars skin tightening, deep lasers, fat injection and dermabrasion individually or in combination could be used. If you could post your pictures or e-mail your pictures I would advise you more meaningfully. Alternatively you can consult a board certified plastic surgeon in your area.

Answer: Acne Scars Sounds like you have been through a lot! Photos and/or physical exam needed to provide proper advice. Generally speaking, I am not sure Mini-Facelift is your answer. Direct excision of deeper scars may be an option. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to review your options. Good luck!

Answer: Mini lift and acne scarring I'm sorry to hear about the troubles with your skin. Unfortunately, I would not expect a facelift of any type to make a meaningful and lasting improvement in the scarring. Plus, you are still really too young to get much benefit out of a facelift procedure. It's a tough problem. I would focus on continuing the SkinPen and laser resurfacing you've been doing routinely. They tend to help a little bit more each time. Best wishes.

Answer: Mini lift for rolling acne scars? Hi, I have performed many facelifts over the past 30 years. I have performed my minimally, invasive SMAS facelift in cases of moderate to severe acne scarring. As the SMAS and skin are tightened and removed, the acne scars flatten out which improves their overall appearance. The underlying SMAS layer, of the face, must be dissected, lifted, trimmed and re-sutured (not merely folded or suspended with threads or sutures that will not last). The excess skin is then removed and the facelift incisions closed. The minimally invasive, short incision facelift that has all the benefits of more invasive facelifts (traditional, mid-face, deep plane, cheek lift and subperiosteal facelifts) but with these added benefits: very small incisions and no incisions extend or are placed within the hair. minimal tissue dissection = less bruising and swelling = rapid recovery ( several days instead of weeks or months with the more invasive type facelifts mentioned) can be performed in 90 minutes or less, with or without general anesthesia no incisions within the hair = no hair loss excess fat can be removed from the face and neck excess skin removed from the face and neck cheeks, chin and jaw line can be augmented with dermal fillers (I prefer Restylane Lyft) or facial implants most patients fly back home to parts all over the world in as little as 3 days post-op I combine facial shaping with every facelift procedure. When jowls are present, these should be done in concert and not alone or separately in order to create a naturally, more attractive face. Hope this helps.
