If you anesthesiologist does not recommend this I do not see why you would put yourself at risk and go against the recommendation. Patient safety always comes first. 

Since your anesthesiologist has already said no to homeopathics, I think you have the only answer that counts. If you want to proceed with your surgery, I would suggest skipping the Arnica.Good luck

I have been using Arnica on every post op patient for 26 years.  It is safe.  There is no evidence to the contrary in either the pre or postop period.  I would save $20 dollars and buy Arnica directly from the store.  Good luck. 

Breast augmentation usually has little or no visible bruising.  Why risk going against your anesthesiologist's advice when it would not make much of a difference, anyway?

Arnica is a homeopathic medication that has no existing scientific evidence that it provides any help. We rarely see bruising of any significance after breast augmentation. Arnica in small doses will probably not hurt you but has been shown to cause an increase in bleeding in high doses. None of the homeopathic supplements are well controlled in their manufacture and thus the purity and actual dose available of the active ingredient can vary significantly between manufacturers. You take it at your own risk.
