So I had posted another photo on here asking if it seemed like I had double bubble on left breast, doctors said yes however my doctor says its not double bubble he said it looks that way because he had to lower by left fold and that I need a lift to fix. I attached a before picture on there he said I was borderline of a lift to begin with. I wanted to avoid more scars so I didn't get one. what are your opinions and how would you fix? Ty:)
Answer: Double bubble From your photos it appears like you have a slight double bubble deformity caused from lowering your fold. This can be corrected by switching to a subglandular plane or by doing an extensive double plane dissection.

Answer: Moving implants from sub muscular to sub glandular to fix double bubble. Is your implant below the pectoralis muscle? Sometimes the vector of the muscle can push the implant in an inferior direction. In this case movement of the prosthesis to sub glandular may be of benefit.

Answer: My comments Yes, your doctor is right: the submammary fold in your case was abnormally high and the lower pole pinched, requiring as a MUST the lowering of the submammary fold to allow centricity of the implant's peak behind the nipples to obtain harmony of the breasts. You have a double texture of skin, NOT a double bubble deformity; at your lower pole there is a border along which the abdominal skin (thick) and the breast skin (thinner) meet or collide, and you see the line of the border.Normally this will disappear with time.

Answer: Double Bubble Treatment after Breast Augmentation From your photo, it appears there is evidence of a double bubble. This happens when the fold is lowered to accomodate a larger implant or if you needed a lift to start. It is impossible to tell from the photos alone. There is an option to correct the issue, by suturing the fold to its original location. That, however, can make the nipple look lower on the breast and then necessitate a lift. Continue to follow up with your surgeon to ensure that you progress as planned. Best of luck!

Answer: Double Bubble After an examination we can discuss your options. There are several possible solutions depending upon your tissue, fold position and size and type and position of implant. It is difficult to tell by the photo.
