I had 1 syringe of voluma injected into cheeks to create lift and appearance of larger cheek bones. Unfortunately they injected incorrectly resulting in fat face as well as dart like projections every time I smile. I have been back 4 times for hylaronaise injections to dissolve product and the voluma has not budged. The rest of my face now looks deflated but the voluma has not dissolved at all. I even asked for the lot number. Why isn't the voluma dissolving ? Please help!

Not all acne scars can be treated with Voluma. Without assessing you in person, impossible to say if this is the case with you but given your description, I would say "yes". Go ahead and have the Voluma dissolved. So sorry that you've had a bad experience. Kindly,Kouros Azar

Since Voluma typically lasts way longer than 2 months, it sounds to be as if you didn't have enough injected the first time so yes, schedule an appointment with your surgeon for a touch up.Kindly,Kouros Azar
