The question says it all- Does changing your side profile noticably change how your nose looks from the front? If my nose gets any thinner it'll look strange on my face, but I really want to make my side profile shorter/a little more upturned. How would this affect my nose from the front? :)

Answer: Side profile vs front view Changing your side profile will certainly have an effect on your frontal view although it may be a subtle change. Simulation software may help you in understanding what the changes may look like.Your nose however from your photos looks perfect!!! If you came to see me, honestly I would try and persuade you from having any surgery to your nose. Please consider your options carefullyBest wishesRichard

Answer: Side versus front profile Thank you for the question and the photos. Changing the side profile does not mean that your front profile will need to be changed. Your nose size and appearance looks good already so I am assuming that what changes you desire would be mild. Careful and thorough discussion with your plastic surgeon will be needed to make sure that both of you are on the same page with regards to the final results. All the best,Dr. Remus Repta
