I had an unsuccessful facelift done 3 years ago in Cincinnati. The Dr M. has agreed to return his fee because the look of jowls didn't improve. Also within a few weeks after the surgery, I saw some asymmetry on my face: the skin was pulled tighter and I can see the line going diagonally from middle of my jaw to the ear. The discomfort and TMJ has developed on the right side within a few months. What if the facelift made your face slightly asymmetric? And this is what had caused TMJ?

Answer: Is TMJ possible as a result of an asymmetric facelift?
Hi, thank you for your question. In most cases, a facelift does affect dimples, though it hard to know the extent of the change until after the surgery. I hope this helps!

Severe ear pain after a full face and neck lift is likely due to the blockage of wax and the post surgical swelling of the ear canal. You may have to schedule an appointment with an ENT doctor to check on you and give proper medication and have your ear wax removed.
