It may take six to twelve months to appreciate the results of a hair transplant surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor and ask for the exact count of grafts you received. 

Looks like you will get a nice result from this! Its very nicely packed, particularly across the frontal hairline and temporal recessions.  So that will grow nice and thick giving you the appearance of great density.  Now its just a matter of waiting and letting the hairs grow.  As far as follicle count, there is no reason for your doc to have lied to you, and you have very dense packing.  So don't worry about that.  Now that the hard part is done, its a matter of letting the hair do its thing.  Congratulations on the procedure! 

To find out how many grafts you
received, you should ask your doctor for a copy of the surgical record
which your surgeon is required by low to provide to you.  It will
have the number of grafts and the number of hairs that were in each graft.
