Thank you for your question. Without pictures of you before surgery, it can be hard to say what kind of results you are going to get. 1200 cc is a decent amount of fat removal but that amount can mean different things on different people depending on shape, body habitus, and fat distribution. Best to discuss with your PS as you go through the healing process.Hope this helps!
This is difficult to answer without pictures, but keep in mind, it's not only the amount of fat removed, but the technique which will give the best results for body shaping and sculpting. Keep in mind, you may have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for your question. Based on your height and weight, your BMI is 29. Without preop and postop photos it is not possible to give you an educated response. If you went in for traditional liposuction or just fat debulking, it might be enough (?). I routinely remove between 2000-3000cc of the abdomen on patients with similar BMI's, but I do sculpting which is a contour and muscle revealing liposuction. The bra bulge needs to be treated both from the front and back, and if your surgeon just reached back there from a supine position only, most likely this wasn't treated adequately. You need to wait 4-6 months for healing, before your question can be answered if 1200cc was a lot or not enough. Good luck with your healing.
hello costalBC93Liposuction patients can see results of their procedures as early as 10-14days after the procedure, but improvements continue 4-6 months afterwards as swellings and irregularities resolve. You should visit or contact your PS about this concern.
Thank you for your question. Without before and after pictures can not comment. Every one is different. 1200 may be more for some and less for others. Please talk to your PS
Every patient is different in where they store fat and how it comes out with liposuction. In some it is too little, others too much, and still others just right.
Liposuction results depend on removing the right amount of fat, and doing it evenly and correctly. The amount of fat removed is only one of several of these factors that contribute to your result. Even a small amount of fat removal can look terrible if it's done in a way that makes you look scooped out or uneven. So, it's not possible to say whether 1200 cc is the right amount for you without seeing you in person. You will experience swelling for a couple weeks that gradually goes down for 1-3 months, so you will need to wait for that to go down. Best wishes!
Thank you for your question. The volume removed by your surgeon sounds like a good deal of fatty tissue and should produce a nice result. Remember, liposuction is a contouring procedure, not a weight loss surgery. You have to be patient after this procedure because it takes time for the swelling to resolve and to heal. You will not see the end result for months. Best wishes!
Thank you for your question. Your swelling could be moving downward for a couple of reasons. For one, it’s not uncommon for swelling and bruising to migrate downward as you recover from surgery before they go away entirely. This is simply gravity doing its work. It’s also possible that you...
Thank you for your question. Healing after liposuction is usually pretty straight forward. There is a process of swelling and bruising that peaks at 3 days after surgery and then undergoes the first stage of major resolution in the first 2 weeks after surgery. The later phase of healing ta...
We all like to know when our patients are having a normal post operative course. It is important to follow up with your original surgeon and/or his staff. I tell my patients that swelling can last even up to a month! So, make sure you keep your follow up appointments and ask...
