I am in extremely good shape, 108 lbs and i lift weights very regularly so i’m lean. I’m hoping to get vaser lipo on my flanks, back and abdomen. I don’t want a fat transfer. The dr I consulted with told me i’d be back to being able to get back to lifting after 2 weeks and he guaranteed it but i’ve seen mixed answers online. He also told me I could go back to work (hairstylist/pilates instructor) after 3-4 days. If it helps, I don’t have a lot of visible fat.
Answer: Working out after Vaser liposuction You should ease up on the workout during the six weeks after Vaser liposuction therapy because your body is recuperating. You can resume exercising after two to four weeks after Vaser liposuction, but you'll need to start out more slowly than you usually would.

Answer: 2 weeks seems reasonable I would say that lifting weight again in 2 weeks is reasonable, but you might still be fairly sore at that point. Also, wearing your compression garment while working out will help minimize the swelling you will almost definitely get.

Answer: Returning to Work and Working Out After VASER Lipo Hello RSMember3102. Thank you for your question regarding the timeline for returning to work and working out after VASER liposuction. Based on your description and the provided photo, the recommendations you received are quite accurate. You should be able to return to lifting weights approximately 2 to 3 weeks after undergoing VASER liposuction. This timeline allows your body sufficient time to heal and reduces the risk of complications. Regarding your work as a hairstylist and Pilates instructor, you should be able to return to these activities approximately 3 to 4 days post-procedure. This is generally a safe timeline for returning to less strenuous activities and allows you to resume your professional responsibilities without significantly impacting your recovery. Given your excellent physical condition and low body fat, your recovery might be smoother and faster, but it's always important to listen to your body and avoid pushing yourself too hard too soon. Make sure to follow your surgeon's specific post-operative care instructions to ensure optimal healing. I hope this answers your question. Good luck with your VASER liposuction procedure. When seeking this procedure, always choose an experienced, Board-certified plastic surgeon who has performed thousands of VASER procedures. Sincerely, J. Timothy Katzen, MD, FASMBS, FICS

Answer: RE: When can I return to work and working out after Vaser lipo? (Photo) Hello Dear RSMember3102 It is Dr. Hong from Fresh Plastic Surgery Clinic South Korea, Seoul. Basically, hard labor and power exercise are recommended at least 1 month after OP. For walking, daily life or light exercises there is not limitations, but you just can feel some discomfort (numbness or pain close to muscle pain) Don't forget to wear garment as well! Best Regards

Answer: Bounding Conditions Hello; relevant time for returning back to work; does not depend only on the amount of fat; which is removed. Depending on how many areas fat will be removed and how the person will feel after the operation. The process may change. In some patients, who do not consume for enough fluids after the operation; fatigue and hypotension may occur. Under normal circumstances, after 1 week, you will be back to work; after 10 between 15 days, you can return back to sports activities as well. However, it all depends on; how you do feel.
