I had mid definition Vaser and it doesn’t look normal, have u been over treated and can it be fixed? My lower abdomen is very hard and square looking, will this ever soften? I am 6 months post op. What are my options?
Answer: Addressing Persistent Firmness and Square Appearance Thank you for your question. Most patients can notice the full effects of their Vaser liposuction within three to six months as the swelling goes down and the region becomes softer. There are several reasons why the lower abdomen could still seem firm and square-looking six months after surgery, including unequal fat removal, scar tissue development, and persistent edema. Have you had lymphatic massages? How was your garment? I would suggest to speak with your surgeon to address these problems; they could suggest massage, lymphatic drainage treatment, fat grafting, or, in certain situations, a revision operation.

Answer: Things To Do Hello; there is a collapse in the upper abdomen zone and loose skin as well. If the skin is not adhered to the base in the collapsed area; fat injection can be done. If it is stuck to the base; firstly, apply on Vaser to that, relevant area and adhesion should be released. After 3-4 months period, fat injection can be practiced in another session. For loose skin case: Renuvion J Plasma or Bodytite can be done.

Answer: Acoustic Shock Wave Therapy I would try. Acoustic Shock wave therapy before considering more Liposuction. Two treatments weekly for several weeks should help soften the hardness. Afterwards more liposuction may be a consideration.

Answer: Exploring Options for Correcting Liposuction Results Regarding your concerns about being over-treated and the square appearance of your lower abdomen, it's essential to schedule a follow-up appointment with your Vaser liposuction provider as soon as possible. They can assess your current condition, discuss your specific concerns, and determine the best course of action moving forward. Here are some potential options that may be considered: Evaluation of Treatment Area: Your provider will examine the treated area to assess whether there has been over-treatment or if there are any irregularities that need to be addressed. Massage Therapy: Gentle massage therapy may help to soften the hardened or square appearance of the lower abdomen. Your provider can recommend specific massage techniques or refer you to a qualified massage therapist. Wait for Healing: It's important to remember that the body needs time to heal after any surgical procedure. At 6 months post-op, you may still be experiencing some degree of swelling and firmness in the treated area. In many cases, these issues resolve over time as the body adjusts and heals. Revision Surgery: In some cases, a revision procedure may be necessary to address any remaining concerns or irregularities. Your provider can discuss the possibility of a revision surgery and explain what it would entail. Patient Education and Support: Your provider should provide you with comprehensive information and support throughout your recovery process. They can offer guidance on post-operative care, answer any questions you may have, and provide reassurance during this time. It's essential to maintain open communication with your Vaser liposuction provider and express your concerns openly. They are there to help you achieve the best possible results and address any issues that arise along the way.

Answer: Liposuction results. I believe I responded to one of your previous posts about the same issue. I really recommend you include the proper before and after pictures if you want equality assessment. If you don’t have before and after pictures, then ask your provider to include the pictures they took. The response to your question remains the same. Work is very difficult. Some improvements are possible. The chance of having a quality outcome is relatively low. Your best chance of improving. The outcome is highly dependent on finding the right provider. Doing that is going to require having a lot of consultations. No one responding to these questions is going to give you any significant useful information. You need in person consultations due to the complexity of your situation. Improving your outcome in a meaningful away may take three or four procedures, and will probably include grafting fat with some revision liposuction. If done by someone with your previous providers, skill set, then any attempts and revision will make your outcome worse. I am truly sorry for the situation you find yourself in impaired. It is my goal to prevent and protect people from being disfigured from Liposuction. Unfortunately, this happens all too frequently and sometimes by well-intentioned very nice highly trained doctors who simply don’t know how to do liposuction. Unfortunately, they are under the belief that using aggressive techniques like VASER is somehow better when in fact in their hands of a it causes destruction, like letting a 16-year-old drive a Porsche turbo on a rainy day.
