Cording in neck - how can I treat this? (Photo)

Question

I had laser lipo a few years ago to fix laxity under the chin but left me overlipoed with cording in the neck. After I tried Morpheus,PRP,filler, Botox, threads, to fix but nothing worked. I had a neck lift a year ago with incisions around the ears and under chin but small improvement. The bands are more evident when I tilt my neck back or lift my head. It’s been a huge source of stress and not sure what else to do to finally achieve peace and look and feel better and try to minimise the cording

As the cause of your concern is over resection of the fat underneath your skin, which then exposed, underlying muscle and jawline, and gave you a harsh appearance to your neck, the only treatment that I did not see that you tried but may be of some help would be fat grafting to try and add volume to soften the appearance.  This likely would take several treatments, but may be of some help. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question regarding cording in the neck and how it can be treated. I appreciate the history and the single picture you provided. It seems that you have exhausted conservative treatments for these neck bands, including Morpheus, PRP, filler, Botox, threads, and even a neck lift.
Given the refractory nature of your condition, the remaining alternative is to surgically cut these neck bands. I would suggest utilizing the prior neck lift incisions around your ears for access. Dissecting down to the neck and severing these cords while performing a platysmaplasty to re-approximate the muscle could be an effective approach. While cutting the neck muscles is an older treatment method for neck cords, it remains extremely powerful, especially in refractory situations like yours.

I would suggest finding someone who does a fair amount of micro fat injections to the face and neck and have fat carefully added in the thinned areas.
