I'm only 20 years old, and because of my facial structure I've always had smile lines. Since I turned 17 they've gotten worse and cause me a lot of insecurity. I can't even wear makeup without all of the foundation creasing badly. I just want a smooth face like everyone else my age, and I would like to know how I could accomplish this. Would a filler like juvederm help, or is there some other treatment that I could try?

Answer: Fillers The First Step Fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane would be your first step. They are easy to do, require no recovery, and provide nice results. Eventually you may go towards fat grafting since this can be a better long term option, but start with a filler and see how you like it. I hope this helps.

Answer: Fillers for Smile Lines/Nasolabial Folds Even at a young age, based on individual anatomy and genetics, it is possible to develop "smile lines" or deepened nasolabial folds. Fillers such as Juvederm or Restalyne are excellent choices. Injecting these products in a younger patient such as yourself, in my opinion, is very different than injecting into an older patient who is more deflated with deeper creases. It is important in a young patient not to use too much product and be more subtle so as not to create an abnormal appearance when smiling; often times less is more.
