Severe pain following Juvederm injections? I had 1ml of Juvederm injected into my lips about 10 hours ago. (photo)

The swelling does not appear to be normal. I would contact your doctor right away as it seems as if it needs urgent attention.

appearance of the face. Swelling is normal for 2 weeks after a treatment. Severe pain at rest after a treatment should be addressed urgently. The product can be dissolved and antibiotics can be provided. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!

Severe pain after Juvederm injections is concerning and I urge you to see a physician as soon as possible, preferably the person who injected the product. When someone reports pain after injections, particularly if you had prior treatments and no pain, I would worry about infection or possible filler being injected into a blood vessel. This needs immediate attention and evaluation to see if filler needs to be dissolved and/or if you need to be started on an antibiotic.
