To generally determine if someone has a high forehead may be difficult without seeing the entire face since it has to do with proportions.
It's hard to say without a full exam and getting a full history. Based on the pictures you sent, it would be exceedingly rare for you to be having the beginning signs of male pattern hair loss. That being said, you will start noticing hairline starting to go back as you get older. On exam, something that you can do to help differentiate, is lift your brows and see where the top wrinkle line is on your forehead. If the muscle movement is going right up to the hairline, then it is likely that you do not have a receding hairline. Again, a physical exam is needed to be more accurate in diagnosis. I hope some of this helps. Best of luck.
You appear that you can come down just a little. I think predominately it is the shape of your forehand, however.
Is this recession or just a large forehead you ask. from the shape of your hairline, I think it is not a receding hairline but to be sure you should lift your eyebrows high so that the forehead creases. A mature hairline will be one finger breadth above the highest crease. I suspect that your finger will actually fall on the crease
I use both endoscopic and open techniques to treat bony forehead contour irregularities, and the most important step is deciding which method is right for each lesion. Endoscopic burring can be used to reduce very small bone irregularities, but is typically not the best way to treat brow bo...
Forehead reduction surgery generally has a very quick and easy recovery. In my practice, sutures stay in for one week and then they are removed. Patients can expect some degree of mild swelling and sometimes (but not always) some bruising around the forehead, brows, and eyes. Patients can also...
Photos cannot determine if you would be a good candidate for surgery. You need an examination and the doctor needs to understand your goals and expectations. You need to have good communication with your doctor to understand what your end result will look like.
Many surgeons make this more complicated and expensive than it needs to be. I have developed a very simple way to remove forehead osteoma. Under local anesthesia I insert a small file under the forehead skin through an incision behind the hairline. The osteoma filed off cleanly in just a fe...
You're right, a bone paste or other treatment could fix this possibly. Another option is to slide in, endoscopically, a small implant that could fix the area.I'd suggest getting a CT scan of your forehead and then sending it to an experienced surgeon.
It is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions.
