How long after hairline lowering surgery can I dye my hair?

I had hairline lowering surgery on 7th March and experienced some hairloss but it has now started to grow back (I have about an inch of new hair growth so far), so I was just wondering how long I should wait before I can dye my hair? I'm wanting to dye it dark brown (no bleach or anything) but I am conscious whether it will damage/delay my new hair growth or cause more hair loss? Prior to the surgery I used to dye my hair frequently and never experienced any problems with hairloss.

Answer: It is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions.
