Should not. Lips, if anything, should be softer and hydrated. Hyaluronic acid gel fillers attract water like a sponge therefore.........
I'm sorry you're experiencing this. Firm massage may help. Otherwise, you can have the lumps dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Thanks for your question and as Dr. Emer has stated, it sometimes takes several treatments with hyaluronidase to dissolve HA fillers in the lips. Ice and gentle massage can also be done, but make sure you are with an experienced injector who knows how to use hyaluronidase
