I have a problem area of fat under my breasts, on top of my ribcage. I've tried diets and exercise and it wont go away. The problem is that im 16 and i dont know what to do because i feel horrible with myself and feel like i need liposuction. My stomach is also uneven if you can see, is there a reason for that or is it just the way I am? If its my diet, does anyone know any exercises that will target this area?

Answer: Liposuction a 16-year-old. A 16 I think weight loss is a better place to start in liposuction. From the photograph if weight loss is unsuccessful and your parents agree to it you should get a good result from liposuction.

Answer: Feeling horrible at sixteen. You probably already know that you are not alone. Being female, sixteen and having body image issues is as regular as the sun rising. Fad dieting is often a dead end, but if you expend more calories than you take in, weight loss is inevitable. Consistent exercise and caloric restriction while maintaining nutrition is the key. Turn these changes into lifestyle habits and continue your efforts. Break through your current plateau. At sixteen, you are still growing and your body is metabolically active. Weight loss is much easier now than when you are fifty. What you cannot do is spot reduce. No tummy exercise will reduce tummy fat. You can tone muscle, flatten and strengthen your abs, but crunches will not eliminate belly fat. This is where liposuction can be beneficial. Please know that liposuction surgery is a body sculpting technique, not a weight loss tool. When performed on an individual whose weight is not under control and stable, liposuction can result in disproportionality when the areas of the body not treated continue to expand as additional fat is deposited into fat tissue.Liposuction is major surgery. Recovery can be lengthy and painful. There are risks involved and potential complications.Emotional maturity is also a factor. Dealing with complications, pain, disappointing results or unmet expectations can be difficult for an adult, even more so for a child.Liposuction can be performed on a sixteen year old, but I would recommend nutritional counseling and patience first. Find a well qualified surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who will take these issues into account and keep your best interests at heart. Together you can decide when you are ready.
