I travelled from Birmingham, Uk after 10 years of researching Duran and I am absolutely thrilled with my 360 lipo, hernia repair, muscle repair, tummy tuck, and lipo sculpture procedure. It has truly transformed my life for the better, giving me a body shape I’ve always dreamed of. My confidence has skyrocketed, and I feel more comfortable and happy in my own skin than ever before.I’m extremely grateful to the clinic and all the friendly staff, but especially to Dr. Castro and Dr. Duran for their exceptional skills and care throughout the whole journey.—his expertise has made all the difference, and I couldn’t be more grateful.
I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Duran and her team. I'm now 4 years post op and I still love my results. My weight currently fluctuates but overall I'm extremely happy with my tummy tuck and belly button results! Gracias Dra. Duran
2024 review!!! DRA DURAN did me soooo good! Been following her for years so I was more than ready to get my surgery done by the Queen! Lipo 360, tummy tuck, muscle repair, arm lipo & BBL. I feel soooo good again. Still recovering and can’t wait to see end results but the immediate results are OUTSTANDING. She is also super sweet as well as all her staff. She does an amazing job with the bodies.
After years of waiting …I was finally able to get my surgery with Duran. She denied me at first and told me I needed to lose weight . I went on a diet called optavia and lost 35lbs. Then she sent me a quote and I secured my date. When I arrived in the DR I did my labs which took a couple of hours. I had to see a cardiologist, pulmonologist, had to do a TAC test and do bloodwork. If you are thinking about doing this.. make sure you TAKE YOUR SUPPLEMENTS MONTHS BEFORE! Women were getting turned away because of low hemoglobin levels. I did my labs Friday and had surgery Monday. I saw Duran Monday morning . She marked me up and I started the admittance process. I stayed at Bella Luna recovery house. Absolutely wonderful! I took my husband with me and he had a blast there. Duran was sweet and to the point. I love her confidence! She’s a petite cute woman. Castro her assistant, helped A LOT! She does most of the post op correspondence. If you want to see Duran you will need to go in early before she goes into surgery. I saw Castro and she was just fine! I left 13 days post op. I absolutely love my results . She really is life changing ! I showed her a pic of what I looked like before and told her to put me back! She lipoed every area I did not like …and repaired my diastasis recti and umbilical hernia! She understood the assignment!! More photos on my Instagram!
I am almost a year post op and my body is still changing everyday, I love my surgery but my lipo on my tummy is a bit uneven and a little hard but it's nothing wood therapy can't fix . I want a round 2 , looking for more hips !
I had my BBL just over 6 weeks ago with Dra. Duran. Travelling to the DR for surgery alone during a pandemic was a little nerve racking but I wasn't alone! There were other girls on my flights from Vancouver and Mexico on their way down to do the same thing. My experience was perfect. I was super lucky to have an easy recovery, not suffer from any complications and come out with results I only dreamed of! Dra. Duran and her staff were all amazing. She is super cute! Very knowledgeable and sets realization expectations. Her assistant Dra. Castro is a sweetheart and stays in touch to make sure everything is going well. Wilkira is super funny and helpful, sharing her own experience helping me get prepared for surgery. I would definitely have surgery with Duran again. I really wish I had more fat for another BBL, it was such a fun experience for me lol. I have a high pain tolerance and didn't need any narcotics for pain. It was mostly discomfort I was feeling. I stayed in the DR at a recovery house for 15 days. I do think I should have stayed at least another couple of days. The nurses at my RH were SO helpful. But the food was NOT it. Neither was the transportation, the house was quite far from everything and we had 1 driver for all 7 of us staying in the house. Overall, I'm so happy with my results and my experience. I would definitely do it again. Hoping one of my friends decides to have a BBL in the DR so I can accompany them and live vicariously through them! Updated on 5 Feb 2021: I've included some photos! I'm terrible at documenting my journey but I have some photos on my surgery page and post to my story all the time. My sx ig is sxchampagnemami The before photos are a little blurry because I took screen shots of a video. The afters are from a few weeks ago at 8 weeks post op.
I’m very skinny BBL however Dra Duran was able to find fat for me. She dry lipoed my whole body - upper back, lower back, armpit, inner thighs, arms - everywhere. The surgery recovery is intense for 2 weeks but after it getting better and better. I’m 3 weeks PO now. Dra Duran herself she listened to me, saw my wish picture and understood what I want. I can tell that she likes her job and passionate about that - you can see how happy she is, she is just spreading positive energy. She is very nice. I will update my review closes to one month and to post pictures. Now I’m swollen but I already can see that my shape is better then before and I like my results. At first I was thinking I had fibrosis on my stomach , I was getting my massages though. But now , 3 weeks later, it smoothed out and it wasn’t fibrosis! So now I don’t even have fibrosis (skinny girls tends to have more fibrosis usually). Updated on 4 May 2021: One cheek is visibly higher then the other one. Random weird visible fat deposit on my right thigh. I need rd 2 or revision. :( Updated on 18 Dec 2022: Guys as I got many questions here’s an update. Well my buttcheeks are slightly different abs I do have uneven lipo. This doesn’t even bother me. What I hate is that my hips got dissolved so I still have no hips now :(
I am booked to have surgery with Dr. Duran in February. I'm planning on getting a LIPO/BBL, neck lipo, and arm lipo. I have previously had a BBL with Dr. Hanabergh in Miami, Florida. I am needing a round 2 due to the fact I asked him for very natural results. I hope with my foundation Duran can really give me the hips and projection I'm looking for. If anyone is having surgery with Duran February 16 let's link up. I'm living in Houston.
I have 5 children. My first one gave me a million stretchmarks. My last one gave me a huge umbilical hernia. I researched for years. For about 5yrs I kept saying I was going to do it this year. And things always got in the way. This year, I decided to take the step, paid a deposit & scheduled my date. I am currently 7wks post op. Recovery is a journey in itself. I love my results.
Went to DR for a bbl and love my results.. first time going anywhere alone and the longest I've been away from my family but it was well worth it.. Really painful but if you take your pain meds as recommended even if you're not in pain at the time you should be okay.. Arrived for surgery 10/25 and had surgery 10/28.. I stayed at Bella Luna recovery house which I loved it reminded me of being at my grandmas or aunts house, they had around the clock nurses and a button if you need assistance.. the food tasted home cooked and they provided 3 meals a day with healthy snacks.. my overnight nurse name was Ana she was amazing and very attentive.. Rossy was my coordinator and I also purchased her supplies so I didn't have to bring anything except clothes she had amazing energy and brightened up my day when I met her he and her husband are really great people.. very grateful for my experience my Dr and her entire staff were women and they were all so sweet to me and made me feel extremely safe.. I would recommend them to anyone not to mention how beautiful they all were.. just have to go into this process with a lot of patience from preparation to the clinic to your recovery.. for me recovery has been the hardest part I haven't had any major complications it's just a lengthy process, it's very uncomfortable because your body just went through so much.. Updated on 20 Nov 2020: Updated on 20 Nov 2020: Updated on 20 Nov 2020: My body is softening up and soreness is going down, still experiencing swelling and a lot of numbness and sensitivity especially around my sides which is expected can’t wait to hit the 3 month mark (scar on my back is from a previous surgery for spinal fusion because I have scoliosis) Updated on 24 Nov 2020:
Yes, implants placed under the muscle can appear slightly smaller due to added tissue coverage, especially in the upper pole. The difference between 430cc and 485cc is about 1.8 tablespoons—noticeable to some, but not dramatic. If you're between sizes, most surgeons recommend going slightly larger to avoid regrets.
For a 38A band size and wide chest, both the Motiva Demi 625cc and Mentor Moderate Plus 700cc have base widths around 14.4–15 cm, which is appropriate for achieving cleavage on a wide chest. Since your goal is fullness over projection, either could work—but surgical technique and anatomy (like muscle insertions) matter too. A consult with a surgeon will help fine-tune the best match.
Restoring volume with implants can improve overall breast shape, but it typically doesn’t correct stretched or oval-shaped nipples—especially after weight loss and a prior breast reduction. To restore a rounder, more natural appearance, a nipple-areola reduction or areolar reshaping as part of a lift (mastopexy) may be needed. A consultation would help determine the best technique based on your anatomy and goals.
If implants haven’t dropped by 3–6 months, despite using a band or massage, and they still appear abnormally high or asymmetric, a revision may be considered. UTM implants can take longer to settle, so early revision (before 12 weeks) is usually avoided unless there are clear aesthetic issues. After 6 months with no improvement, surgery to adjust the pocket or fold may be appropriate.
Yes, you appear to be a good candidate for a BBL. You’re healthy, have some fat available for transfer, and good skin tone for your age. A skilled surgeon can use fat from your abdomen, flanks, and lower back to enhance your buttocks and overall contour. Pre-op medical clearance and realistic expectations are essential.
