Will a Brazilian Butt Lift make it so I can no longer be spanked?

I'm in the kink lifestyle and am a big [RS bleep], so being spanked is not unusual for me. I'm used to being hit with paddles and canes until I'm marked and bruised. If I get a BBL will this no longer be something I can enjoy, or would it be fine as long as I wait a few months for the grafted fat to take? Would butt implants be a better option in my case (though I like the option to have fat grafted to my hips?)

Thank you for your question. It's an interesting question.  My recommendation after the BBL procedure would be to wait at least a few months to ensure that your transferred fat is viable and has settled in nicely.  Although there are no long-term studies, repeated trauma may possibly reduce the long-term viability of your fat. One of the big benefit of fat transfer is that it is your own tissue and it can be redone if you loose a significant amount. On other hand, repeated stress or trauma to butt implants may cause more problems such as implant rupture and failure.

That's a very good question. I would certainly wait at least a few months to ensure that your fat is as hearty as it can be. That said, repeated trauma may possibly reduce the long-term stability of your fat. On the other hand, the benefit of fat augmentation is that it is entirely your material and once settled in, I can be permanent. I actually think the repeated stress to implants may cause problems down the road. Most importantly, I would have a discussion about this with whoever you choose as your surgeon.It is imperative that you seek the advice of a plastic
surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has
extensive experience in buttock augmentation.

The Brazilian Butt Lift will not interfere with your lifestyle after the initial healing period.  Butt implants may actually impede or at least change your sensation during spanking and certainly would not address your hips.  Grafted fat feels normal - to you and to your partner.  Once you allow time (I would suggest at least 2 months) for the area to heal and the grafted fat to take, you can resume your regular activities.  You are correct that fat grafting has the advantage of being able to create rounded hips as well as projection in the butt.

Trauma to the buttocks should be avoided so that the fat placed can survive. How long that is in terms of the specific activity you mentioned is difficult to say.

Thanks for your interesting question.After any fat transfer, you should avoid any trauma to the area for several months.  By that time, the fat should have developed a stable blood supply and should be permanent.  Multiple truama (spanking) to implants can affect them in a similar way with the potential for capsular contracture.Good luck with your decision.Dr. T
