Answer: Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon In-Person About Your Options Additional elective cosmetic #surgery is a personal choice. Your procedures should always be performed by a #PlasticSurgeon who is board-certified and has a great deal of experience specializing in cosmetic #surgery. You will then greatly improve your chances of getting the result you desire, and, without the need for a revision surgery. It is suggested that you look at before and after photos of the surgeons actual patients, and read patient reviews. Gathering all of this information will help you make a well-informed decision.

Answer: Perspective Online responses of course can never replace a thorough in depth consultation with a plastic surgeon. However I would ask the surgeon about two things that jump out at me. First: shape is usually more important than size and you should concentrate on that first. The weight of the implants that you mentioned may contribute to subsequent sagging. Second : the aesthetic unit is the full torso and your breasts would seem larger with an abdominoplasy. I'm not suggesting this as a must have surgery but your feelings about size may be a little distorted add you seek to balance a post part up torso. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Answer: Will 550-600cc HP or UHP Mentor Silicone Implants give me the look I'm seeking? Thank you for the question and pictures. Online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Keep in mind, that breast lifting may also be indicated.Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. Showing your surgeon your goal photographs with your push-up bra may be helpful. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup” or "more projection" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your chosen plastic surgeon to work with you in determining the best plan to achieve your goals.I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to revisionary breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast Implant Exchange Hi600 cc uhp or hp implants are a large jump from 300 cc salines on a body with your frame. It can be done, but I question if it will look natural. I also notice that your breast has "fallen off" your implant. The ptosis or sagging of your breast will not be improved to the degree your push up bra offers with an implant change alone and a small lift is necessary to achieve that goal.best!

Answer: Speak to your plastic surgeon, it is best Hi, Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. It is important to remember that a board certified plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to an accurate assessment of your situation, and concerns. Having said that, as a rule of thumb you will not be able to see a difference in breast implant appearance unless you go up or down at least 75-150 cc. The height, weight, frame and current implants and desires are what really pushes the meter. So a small framed women with 300cc ranged devices should be able to see a change with 75 cc. This would be the case if she wanted to fill out the bras better and not necessarily go to the next bra size. If she wanted to go up a size and fill it out, it may be 150+ cc to achieve that. A larger women with the same sized implants would probably not even notice the 75 cc bump. So their scale would shift and she may need 125 cc to notice some difference and even more to go up and fill the next bra size. So it is not a cut and dry situation. You would be best served going to see a plastic surgeon personally to get the best advice after examination and discussions about what your goals are. Best wishes, Dr. Michael J.
