If you had a saline deflated implant, everyone would replace it immediately. I had a physician's wife, who was a size 12, a full boned woman who realized the implants I had recommended initially, that she rejected, were probably better for her then the small one's she choose. I replaced her implants with implants with in her parameters 4 weeks after the first surgery. Still have to check CBC and urine pregnancy again. A woman has a right to change her mind. However she has to accept the cost of changing her mind....
I would suggest that if you wait 6 months, things will continue to heal. Most importantly, it will make the operation safer.
I would advise you to wait six months before considering a revision of your breast augmentation. Give your breasts a chance to reach their final result before considering another surgery. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and proceed to achieve the size you desire.
You should wait at least until you are sure there is no further change occuring. This may be 3-6 months or longer.
Hi. You will see several changes in the appearance of your breasts and body in the months following your augmentation. Sometimes, patients are concerned that the size chosen is smaller or larger than what they wanted. I feel that it's essential to wait at least three to six months after your augmentation before making an assessment of the size and shape of your new breasts. Believe it or not, it can take up to a year to fully achieve the complete look and transition. Over the recovery period, I certainly recommend having open and clear discussions about your concerns with your plastic surgeon. It is vital to receive your care from a Plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Let them know how you feel and ask what their assessment of the augmentation is. It's important to realize that in some cases, it's really not safe to perform an augmentation beyond a certain size, as it can cause irreversible changes in your body or may increase your risk of complications. That said, a frank and open discussion will certainly help clarify things between you and your surgeon. While you recover, certainly follow the recommended postoperative management recommended to give you the best result possible. These may include things such as:-Massage-Moisturizing creams-Scar creams-Silicone strips for the incisions-Activity restriction-Use of oral supplements such as Arnica Forte, Serapeptaise, etc. Congratulations on your augmentation! I wish you the best!Dr. Gabbay.
I think that it is best to wait 3-4 months before undergoing a revision of your breast augmentation. Best to talk to your surgeon.
I would suggest waiting 3-6 months post to decide if you want to go any bigger. They do change within that time and you may realize you are happy with the current size. It's too early to make any decisions for change.
I have patients wait 3 months before considering going larger in size. Each surgeon is different, but you want to leave enough time for the scar tissue/inflammation to settle down, as well as let your body recuperate from the stress of surgery/anesthesia itself. Also, make sure you and your surgeon are on the same page regarding your sizing goals so you don't undergo any further unnecessary costs/surgeries.
The shape of the implant is discussed during consultation. I prefer round implants in many cases. Yes, the teardrop shaped implants can rotate.
In terms of picking the right implants to achieve your goals, generally speaking, I consider two factors when selecting implants for my patients:1. Dimensional planning2. Gel Implant Sizing systemDimensional planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the breast d...
Thanks for asking. Mammograms are still possible even with capsular contracture. Letting your provider and tech know your situation will help. Sometimes MRI is used in breast evaluation. If a patient does have a grade IV contracture, she should see a plastic surgeon for the surgical options for...
