10 months PO- I’ve lost volume up top, Dr. is recommending 500cc mod high extra gel, will that be too big for me? (Photos)

Unfortunately, your photographs are inadequate. You may benefit more from a lift to achieve upper pole fullness. I would need photos without a bra on to give you a more accurate answer.

Hello @Todd2018 thank you for your question. 500cc might be to big for your body frame and you have to take into account that you might need a breast pay as well. the look of implants is not just about size, but also how you want to achieve a natural result. The plane on which the implant will be placed has a great deal to do with how these implants will look in some years to come. Thanks for your inquiry but without measurements it is hard to advise, in general increasing volume by changing to a more projected implant is an excellent strategy--may consider slightly more volume and change to extra high profile or "Boost" line of Mentor implants to also add more projection and upper pole fullness, good luck.

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, if interested, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately without a full series of photographs, or an in-person examination, it is difficult to comment on the best implant size/projection needed to approach your goals. I would discuss your concerns with your surgeon further as a 125cc increase in size is likely doable, especially if you are increasing the projection of the implant, but you may also need a revision of your lift.

Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions. 520cc size implant is considered large for your small frame.
Sometimes, after significant weight loss you may also need a breast lift in addition to implants, to recreate a more youthful breast shape.
I suggest that you discuss your questions and concerns with your Plastic Surgeon.

The 500 cc implants will be too large and heavy for your frame. Please do not go so large. this will stretch and thin your tissue, be too heavy for your neck and shoulders and sag over time. Go in and try on additional 150 cc implants so you can feel the weight. You look nice in your photos.
