Neck lift Vs Lipo for a bald man with no option to hide scars? (Photo)

I am a 35YO bald man with a double chin. Iv been to a few doctors who say that a neck lift is basically out of the question because they can't hide the scars. They recommend lipo with skin tightening with Renuvion. I'm afraid it wont be enough. Can bald men get necklifts. Does anyone know a doctor who specializes in bald men?

No way to hide the incisions in a bald person. The best option is to get chin/neck liposuction.
Chin liposuction helps reduce the bulge under the chin and can be done for the whole neck. Once the fat is removed the skin can become loose and saggy in some cases. It can be avoided by combining it with Thermitight which is a radiofrequency heat delivered under the skin to tighten it. Both chin liposuction and Thermitight can be done at the same time. The recovery is fast and it can be done under local anesthesia.

Hi,
In cases like yours, liposuction alone is often not sufficient, especially if there’s significant skin laxity or deeper anatomical factors involved. Liposuction primarily targets superficial fat, but a more comprehensive improvement usually requires addressing deep fat compartments, submandibular glands, and sometimes the digastric muscles.
As for scarring concerns in bald patients: while it’s true that there’s no hair to conceal incisions, a well-executed neck lift can still be performed with discreet scar placement, often behind the ears and under the chin. With proper planning and technique, visible scarring can be minimal and acceptable even in patients without hair coverage.
We’ve seen good outcomes in bald male patients undergoing deep neck contouring procedures. Happy to share example cases if helpful.
