Chin liposuction or mini facelift? (photos)

There is nothing going to make the lower face/neck look fabulous now other than a great mini Lift under local. It is so easy to undergo and you look so amazing in just 2 days . You are wrapped up for 1-2 weeks though but there is almost no pain during or afterwards. A little filler in the nasolabial areas would compliment the results nicely as well as a face/neck/chest resurfacing with Morpheus8 and a medium TCA peel.

You may be a candidate for liposuction of the neck area with or without skin tightening depending upon the elasticity of your skin. It is possible you might need a mini lift but it is hard to tell without an in person examination. I would recommend consultation with a facial plastic surgeon in your area.

Chin liposuction helps reduce the bulge under the chin and can be done for the whole neck. Once the fat is removed the skin can become loose and saggy in some cases. It can be avoided by combining it with Thermitight which is a radiofrequency heat delivered under the skin to tighten it. Both chin liposuction and Thermitight can be done at the same time. The recovery is fast and it can be done under local anesthesia.

Although the pictures aren't ideal, it appears that there is some laxity along the jawline in addition to the area under the chin. You are too young for a full facelift but a mini could be just the ticket.

There is not enough information to give you a distinct answer on your pictures. A procedure to consider is Ellevate (an advanced form is: Trampoline platysmaplasty). This is a necklift without any incisions that is less invasive than a corset platysmaplasty. Often facetite (RF tightening) and/or liposuction is added. It is all done through small puncture holes. I'd consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon who does these procedures in your area to see if you are a candidate.

Please don't waste time with liposuction alone. It will not treat your jowls. Only a facelift in combination with submental liposuction will give you the results you want.

It is impossible to give you accurate evaluation based on these photos. My thoughts are between neck lift (which will address neck fullness, laxity, jowls) and liposuction? You should not exclude need for fillers or fat grafting. In person consultation is recommended. Good luck.

Thanks for the question and photos. The answer to your question could be liposuction alone or in conjunction with a short scar lift. It all depends on your elasticity. If your skin’s elasticity is good, your skin should redrape just fine. However if it’s poor or lax, a lift will be needed, as well. Good luck!

You will get an excellent result from chin liposuction or a single incision neck lift which would also address the muscle laxity. The choice between the two procedures would be made during a consultation which can be virtual or in person.
